Will this lower my electricity bill?
It lowers the bill by cutting running hours, not by sitting in the wall. Set a schedule and the appliance draws power for fewer hours, so fewer kilowatt-hours reach the meter. Be suspicious of any plug that claims to save electricity while changing nothing about how your appliances run.
How much will I actually save?
That depends on what you find and what you change, so we won't invent a figure. The arithmetic is simple though: every watt drawing continuously costs roughly 9 kWh a year. Multiply by your tariff and you have your own number.
How accurate is it?
It measures at the socket rather than estimating, so what you see is what the appliance is actually pulling. Readings drift slightly at very low loads, which matters little when you're hunting for the big consumers.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
Yes, 2.4GHz. The plug switches manually without it, but live readings, history and scheduling all run through the app.
Can I leave it plugged in permanently?
That's the intended use. It logs continuously, so you build up weekly and monthly history for each appliance you're tracking.
What if it doesn't suit my home?
Return it within 30 days of delivery. Orders are processed in 3–7 days and delivered in 14–30 days, so the window opens when the parcel reaches you, not when you order.
